Valif is an oral medication for erectile dysfunction that contains vardenafil as its active ingredient. Usually, when men experience sexual stimulation, the blood flows to the penis, causing and maintaining an erection. However, in men with ED, this process doesn't work properly, and they may have difficulty achieving or maintaining an erection.
Valif increases the blood flow to the penis and has fewer side effects than sildenafil and tadalafil (the two other oral ED treatment options). It is also a low-risk treatment for people suffering from other conditions and comorbidities.
How does Valif work?
An enzyme called PDE5 constricts the blood vessels of the penis. Valif stops this enzyme from taking effect by widening the blood vessels, allowing blood to enter the penis, and providing men with harder, longer-lasting erections.
Valif (vardenafil) is also considered more potent than other ED treatments such as sildenafil. This means you don't need to take a stronger dose for it to work. Vardenafil's initial dose is only 10 mg, compared to sildenafil's 50mg. When you use vardenafil, there is less chance that you will experience negative effects because you are taking less of the medication.
I took Valif but it didn’t work. What should I do?
Please let us know if you take Valif and discover that it has no effect, takes a long time to take effect, or only lasts a short while. Tell our doctor if you take Valif and don’t notice any difference. The issue might be resolved by changing to a higher dose or modifying your current dose.
In order to obtain the best benefits from Valif, you may also need to limit your alcohol intake, stop smoking if you currently smoke, eat a light meal while taking it, engage in daily physical activity, and generally try to lead a healthy lifestyle.
But keep in mind that Vardenafil only helps with erections; it has no effect on sexual desire. It only takes effect when you are sexually stimulated.

How to take Valif
Take one Valif tablet 30-60 minutes before you plan to be sexually active. With or without food, swallow it whole with some water.
Consult your doctor if the dosage isn't working. It is important to note that Valif only works effectively when you are sexually aroused. Consult your doctor if you experience any adverse effects that last a long time or cause you a lot of trouble.
Valif with food and alcohol
It can take longer for Valif to start working if you take it with a substantial or high-fat meal.
You should limit your alcohol consumption because excessive alcohol use can lead to erectile dysfunction.
Additionally, you should refrain from consuming grapefruit juice while using Valif. Because grapefruit juice actually strengthens the drug's action and boosts its potency in the body, it considerably raises your likelihood of experiencing side effects.
What dosage of Valif is right for me?
There are two doses of Valif available: 10mg and 20mg.
Your doctor will usually prescribe Valif 10 mg if you are taking it for the first time. If Valif 10 mg has little or no effect, your doctor may modify the treatment or increase the dosage.
Mild side effects like headache are commonly experienced with Valif. However, if you have any other side effects or underlying health issues, you must inform your doctor beforehand so that they can suggest an appropriate treatment for you.

Have something specific you want to know about Valif? Search our info below, or ask our experts a question if you can’t find what you’re looking for.
Is Valif effective?
Answer:
In clinical trials, the effectiveness of different doses of Vardenafil has shown the following results:
76% of men found that the 10mg dose gave them an erection that was satisfactory for sex.
With the 20 mg dose, 80% of men found that the 20 mg dose helped them get and maintain an erection that was suitable for penetrative sex.
Valif vs Varimax: what’s the difference?
Answer:
There is hardly any difference. Both Valif and Varimax have vardenafil as their active ingredient and work in the same way. The main differences between the two is in their packaging, price and the manufacturers.
Why should I choose Valif over other ED treatments?
Answer:
Valif is one of several medications available to treat ED, and it may be a good choice for you if:
you have had a positive experience with vardenafil in the past.
you prefer a fast-acting medication that only lasts for a short while (4-5 hours)
you have a condition like diabetes, heart disease and other medical conditions.
Is there ED treatment that’s active for longer in the body than Valif?
Answer:
ED treatments that contain tadalafil (like Efil and Ciafil) stay in your body for 36 hours, compared to Valif that lasts in your body for about 4-5 hours. The actions of medicines that contain sildenafil like Viagra, Manforce and Suhagra also last in your body for a short period of 4-5 hours.
