Diarrhoea pill that begins to work in one hour.
Lopox is an antidiarrheal medication that contains loperamide. It helps control your diarrhoea symptoms and makes your stools firmer.

Lopox is a medication used to treat short-term, acute diarrhoea. It can also be used to treat chronic diarrhoea, however this is less common and is frequently caused by another issue like irritable bowel syndrome or Crohn's disease.
Lopox contains the active ingredient loperamide, which belongs to a class of drugs known as antidiarrheal agents. They operate by slowing down your bowel movements and assisting in the formation of harder stools by reducing the quantity of fluid in your stool.
Antidiarrheals like Lopox operate by slowing the passage of food through your intestine. This allows your body to pull water through your intestinal walls, helping your digestive system return to normal. As things settle down, your stools should harden and you should be able to resume eating and drinking normally.
Diarrhoea is typically not dangerous, but it might be an indication of an underlying problem. If your symptoms do not improve after two days of using Loperamide, you should consult a doctor. They'll normally propose testing to figure out what's causing your symptoms.
Lopox comes in a fixed dose of 2mg loperamide. When you first notice diarrhoea symptoms, take two capsules as soon as possible. After you've taken this initial dose, you'll take one capsule after each loose bowel movement.
Lopox should not be used for more than five days. If your stool consistency hasn't improved by then, see a doctor.

Lopox pills should be taken whole with a glass of water. You should take two capsules after your first bout of diarrhoea and one capsule after each subsequent bout.
Although Lopox does not have to be taken with meals, you should try and eat solid foods as soon as you are able. When you have a loose bowel movement, increase your fluid intake to avoid getting dehydrated.
Lopox pills often begin to act within an hour, and can be used for up to five days. The suggested dose is for 'short-term' diarrhoea, which normally clears up within this time frame.
Speak with a doctor if you still have loose stools after five days. Long-term diarrhoea can lead to difficulties such as malabsorption (when your body cannot readily absorb nutrients) and dehydration, and it may be an indication of other health conditions.
If you miss a dose, there's no need to double your dose because it won't improve your symptoms any faster or more efficiently.
Excessive Lopox usage might lead to cardiac issues. If you believe you have overdosed, get emergency medical treatment at your local hospital.
Avoid driving or operating equipment if you feel drowsy, fatigued, or dizzy after taking Lopox.
