Everyday pills to treat an overactive bladder
Bladmir is a simple yet effective medication for urinary incontinence or overactive bladder. The delayed release pills distribute the medicine over a longer length of time, allowing you to benefit from its effects throughout the day.
Inform our team of doctors about your health, and we will recommend the best treatment choice for you.
Bladmir is a widely used treatment for overactive bladder syndrome. Common signs of an overactive bladder include urgent need to pee, increased urinary frequency, and inadvertent urine leaks.
These disorders can be caused by a variety of root causes, including excessive alcohol or caffeine consumption, bladder inflammation, or nerve damage. Other possible reasons include urinary tract infections or increased belly pressure due to pregnancy or obesity. Bladmir’s active ingredient, mirabegron, relaxes bladder muscles. This helps you by lowering the constant and urgent need to use the loo.
Bladmir's main ingredient, mirabegron, operates by activating beta-3 receptors in the smooth muscle of the bladder. As a result, the bladder's muscles relax, allowing it to store more pee while contracting less frequently. This means you'll have fewer sudden urges to pee and visits to the loo.
Bladmir is also what’s known as a ‘sustained release’ medication. This means that the pills gradually and steadily release the active component into your body over time. As a result, the pills keep a constant amount of the medicine in your system, giving you a more consistent and long-lasting impact.
Bladmir pills are available in two dosages: 25mg and 50mg. Adults are often advised to take one 50mg pill orally, once per day. In some situations, like if you have kidney or liver issues, your doctor may lower your dose to 25mg.

Remember to take your prescription precisely as prescribed by your doctor. Here are some general rules to follow:
While the time of day isn't critical, it's recommended to take Bladmir at the same time everyday.
Bladmir gets to work in your body quickly. It just takes three to four hours for it to enter your system at its highest concentration and begin to relax the muscles around your bladder.
If you don't see results right away, don't give up; you have to be patient. This is because the significant changes in your symptoms may not be noticed for four to eight weeks.
You should contact your doctor right away if you accidentally take more Bladmir pills than advised. An excessive amount of Bladmir might result in symptoms such as a rapid, pounding heartbeat, elevated blood pressure, or both.
If you forget to take your medication and there’s more than six hours until your next dose, take it as soon as you remember. But if there are fewer than six hours until your next dose, continue taking your meds according to your regular schedule and skip the missed pill. Taking two pills to make up for a missed dosage is not recommended.
