Effective treatment that controls blood sugar levels.

Glyciphage-P combines two powerful anti-diabetes medications for effective treatment of high blood sugar.
Type 2 diabetes stops your body from using insulin and results in high blood sugar levels. Order Glyciphage-P online and get it delivered at your door whenever you need it, on subscription.
Glyciphage-P is a combination treatment for Type 2 diabetes. It contains two active ingredients called pioglitazone and metformin. It’s commonly prescribed when one of the active ingredients alone hasn’t been successful at lowering blood sugar or if you’re at higher risk of complications. The two ingredients work together to help your body make better use of the insulin it produces.
When taking Glyciphage-P you’ll need to monitor your blood sugar levels closely and keep your doctor informed about any changes. This is to make sure that the medication is working for you and to allow your doctor to make any changes to your dose or medication to ensure you’re taking the best treatment for you.
Glyciphage-P is also known by the brand names Glitatip M, Pioz MF, Nashnix, Pizorad M and Zipio M, all of these medicines work in the same way and contain the same active ingredients but the pills and packaging may differ in appearance.
Type 2 diabetes occurs when your body becomes resistant to the insulin that you need to process sugar. Insulin is used to carry the sugar around the body via the blood where it’s either used by organs such as the lung and brains or stored as fat. If your body’s insulin is not effective at doing this, the level of sugar in your blood rises and this causes the effects that you associate with high blood sugar levels.
Glyciphage-P contains metformin. Metformin works to reduce the amount of sugar that your liver releases into your blood and it also makes your body better at using the insulin in your body and so helps to reduce the level of sugar in your blood.
There’s also pioglitazone in Glyciphage-P. Pioglitazone belongs to a group of anti-diabetes drugs called thiazolidinediones, and it helps to make your body more sensitive to the insulin that it produces. This increased sensitivity makes it easier for the insulin to process sugar and reduces blood sugar levels and the effects of high blood sugar.
When used alongside a healthy, low carb diet and an active lifestyle, the two medicines that are combined in Glyciphage-P can reduce blood sugar levels. When taking the medication, it’s important to measure and record your blood sugar levels regularly so that you can see how well the medication is working for you.
Glyciphage-P comes in two dosage sizes.
Glyciphage-P 15 mg/500 mg tablet which contains 15mg of pioglitazone and 500mg of metformin.
Glyciphage-P 7.5 mg/500 mg tablet which contains 7.5mg of pioglitazone and 500mg of metformin.
Your doctor will usually prescribe the lower dose to begin with and after monitoring your blood sugar levels will suggest whether you need to increase the dose you take.
Glyciphage-P doesn’t suit everyone and your doctor may recommend a different treatment for you to try if this is the case. It may be that you’re better suited to taking the medicine’s active ingredients as separate treatments.
Your doctor will monitor your health and provide you with the options that are best for you.

When taking Glyciphage-P you may notice a reduction in your blood sugar levels within one to two weeks. It can take two to three months for the medicine to reach its full effect.
The amount of time that it takes to reduce blood sugar levels when taking Glyciphage-P can differ from person to person and is dependent on a range of factors. These factors include how high your blood sugar levels were before you started treatment, the amount of exercise you get and your diet.
Your doctor will monitor your blood sugar levels through regular testing and this will help to make sure that your treatment is working in the way you need it to. If your doctor isn’t happy with your progress they may suggest a change to the dose you take, or that you try a different medication.
If you forget to take a dose of Glyciphage-P, you should take it as soon as you remember. If it’s been more than 16 hours since you took your last dose, you can carry on as you normally would. Never take a double dose of Glyciphage-P.
If you take too much Glyciphage-P you should seek medical attention immediately. When seeing a doctor, take your medication with you so that they can see how much you’ve taken.
