Clopivas Ap is a medication used to treat high cholesterol. It contains two active ingredients: acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin) and clopidogrel bisulfate. Acetylsalicylic acid, better known as aspirin, helps to prevent blood clots from forming and blocking your blood’s route to the heart. High cholesterol levels increase the likelihood of clots forming, and taking aspirin can reduce the likelihood of a heart attack by 75%. Clopidogrel makes the platelets in your blood less ‘sticky’ and this helps to prevent clots from forming and blocking oxygen in the blood from getting to the brain and causing a stroke.
Clopivas Ap is only available in a single dosage size and contains the following ratio of the active ingredients: acetylsalicylic acid 75mg and clopidogrel 75mg
